GEMZ by RJ(“we”, “us”) is operated by Rajasthan Jewels. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and phone number when you register or check out.
• Order & shipping information — delivery address, order history, and order value.
• Payment information — processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank account details on our own servers.
• Recommendation-tool inputs — if you use our gemstone recommendation tool, we process the birth date, time and place you provide solely to compute your result; the birth place lookup may use Google Maps when configured.
• Usage data — pages visited, device/browser type, and approximate location, collected automatically via analytics.

3. How we use your information

• To process and ship your orders, and to communicate about them.
• To provide account features (order history, wishlist, saved addresses).
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets, verification).
• To improve the site and diagnose technical issues.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not send marketing email unless you've opted in.

4. Third-party services we use

We share the minimum data necessary with the following service providers to operate the site:

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• ZeptoMail — transactional email delivery (order confirmations, password resets).
• DigitalOcean — hosting, database, and image storage.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-respecting analytics.
• Sentry — error monitoring, to help us fix bugs.
• Google Maps — place lookup, only where enabled.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used, in aggregate — these don't identify you personally.

6. Data retention

We retain order records for as long as required by Indian tax and consumer-protection law. Account information is retained until you request deletion, subject to our obligation to keep order records.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data (subject to our legal obligation to retain order records) by emailing rajasthangemsjewels@gmail.com.

8. Children's privacy

GEMZ by RJis not directed at children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
